If there’s anything in this life that even slightly resembles creatures from a prehistoric time, it’s alligators. It’s no secret that they love the warm, humid, swampy environments, so if you have a fear of gators, Florida is one state you should never visit.
Just recently a woman named Kim Joiner visited the Circle B Bar Reserve, an area of protected lands in Polk County, Florida, where animals can roam free without the possibility of people taking over the area. Here, she videotaped a massive alligator taking a seemingly peaceful stroll through the reserve.
The size of the alligator is unknown, but Florida’s state record for the largest alligator ever spotted is 14 feet 3.5 inches! This particular gator seems very at peace with its surroundings and doesn’t care whether it’s being videotaped or not. Luckily for us, we get to look on in amazement without actually being in its presence.
This isn’t the first sighting of an alligator in Florida, and it certainly will not be the last! Just look at who was caught scaling the fence of a Florida golf course earlier this year!
