You’ll HAVE To Adopt These Shelter Dogs After You See Their Tennis Skills

Four beautifully trained shelter dogs recently showed off their fetching skills as professional tennis ball retrievers. Brazil used the amazing idea to help out their friendly stray dog population and promote the need for more K9 adoptions.

Ranked players, Roberto Carballes Baena and Gastao Elias shared their court with the curious and fury ball retrievers that sported orange bandanas. Both players were touched by the adorable effort from the dogs and intentionally missed a few balls. But, they soon found that they had to chase down the more stubborn pups in order to get their balls back. The crowd seemed to love the showmanship of both the cute dogs and the smiling players.

The dog’s trainer, Andrea Beckert, said that it took some time to help the dogs find the confidence to be playful. “These are dogs that were mistreated,” said Beckert. Judging by their performance, some of the dogs may need a bit more practice. However, the event certainly was held for an important and fun cause.
